Yesterday I posted a video of Avril Lavigne singing her song "Hot" in Japanese, some parts of the song however did remain in English. Here she is singing "Hot" in Mandarin (Chinese), enjoy;

Many people have commented on the video saying that Avril has pronounced all the Chinese words clearly and they are able to be understood. Great work Avril. here will be a special New Year post coming up tomorrow. Happy New Year.

Today is Remembrance Day, the day where we remember all those who bravely fought for our country. Wear your poppies and be proud of what they represent. At precisely 11pm today there was a 2 minutes silence all across the world. Remembrance day is usually the 11th day of the 11th month and at 11pm there is always a silence. However in the UK, Remembrance Day is the second Sunday of November , Remembrance Sunday. Today it is the 11th day of the 11th month.

So lets take sometime to remember those who fought for our country and made the country how it is today.

Avril Lavigne took home 2 MTV Europe Awards on the 1st November. She won the award "Most Addictive Track" for Girlfriend and also she won the "Best Solo Artist" award.

Which sees her pretty much morphed into the new Britney, with a video in which she’s sequined to the max and gyrating like a woman possessed.

Avril Wins 2 MTV Latin Awards

Last night in Mexico City, Avril Lavigne took home 2 MTV Latin awards. She won the "Song Of The Year" award for Girlfriend and won the award for Best International Pop Artist. She also performed When You're Gone and Girlfriend which can be watched here.

Avril Headline Star At Jingle Jam

Some news on an Avril Lavigne December appareance has appeared on Avril Lavigne's Official Site.
Here it is;

Atlanta radio station Star 94 presents their 7th annual Jingle Jam concert, with Avril as the headlining performer! Jonas Brothers, Colbie Caillat, and Elliott Yamin will also be performing.The concert is being held on Monday, December 10th at the Arena @ Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA.
Tickets are $57.00, $37.00, & $27.00. All tickets are for reserved seating and all ages are welcome. Doors open at 6pm with the first act going on stage at 7pm.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 20, 2007 @ 10AM at www.star94.com, the Arena @ Gwinnett Box Office, or through Ticketmaster.

American Music Awards Nomination

Avril has been nominated for an American Music Award, the category being "Favorite Female Artist / Pop or Rock". I'm sure we all know who deserves to win this award. Jimmy Kimmel will present the ceremony on Sunday, November 18 at 8pm.

Today Avril Lavigne "Hot" the Music Video has appeared on music channels and is now available to view online. After weeks of wait for the video to come onto the music channels, here it is;


It's certainly a hot music video. My favourite clothes that Avril wears in the video is the green top and skirt. The single "Hot" will be available in shops as a single on 22nd October 2007.

The concert will be hosted by Ben Mulroney, host of Canadian Idol and E-Talk, and will feature performances by Avril Lavigne, who will be the headlining performer; Juno and Grammy Award winner Sarah McLachlan; Angelique Kidjo, who's new album reflects the soul from her home country of Benin, Africa, Montreal based African singer Corneille, who is also a Unicef Ambassador; multi-platinum French Canadian singer Marie Mai and the 13 year old superstar, Nikki Yanofsky.
