Avril Lavigne Fanatics: Site News
Hiya everyone, I would just like to say sorry for the recent lack of updates. Like on Avril Lavigne's official website, there hasn't been a news post this year and that's largely due to the fact that there hasn't actually been any news to report. I have posted as many archive videos as I can find but at the moment there isn't really anything else to post here. It seems Avril is taking a break at the moment after a long time of doing tours and concerts for The Best Damn Thing and she is probably currently preparing new tracks for her next album. I'm writing this post to let you all know that this site hasn't closed and will be back in full form with a new layout and new pages as soon as more news becomes available. Wishing you all the best and thanking all of you for your understanding and support, Mark.

Happy New Year
It's now 2009 and I would like to take this time to wish all of my readers a happy new year. We can't be sure of what is ahead of us to do with Avril but it's to be hoped there will be a new album and new singles on there way sometime soon. Thank you everyone for visiting the site, I'll try to keep it up to date as and when new information about Avril and her projects becomes available. Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas Everyone
It's Christmas day and I would like to take this time to wish all of my readers a very merry Christmas and hope you have all had a great day so far. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day and to celebrate, you can view a festive performance by Avril Lavigne below;
The song performed above is called "Frosty the Snowman" and it was originally written by Walter Jack Rollins and Steve Nelson. It was first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950 and you can view more information about it here. Merry Christmas.
