It's finally time for the big news you've been waiting for! Avril is going on a tour across North America in 2008, and the ticket pre-sale begins this Friday, November 9th at 10 AM local time! To order pre-sale tickets, you need to get a Pre-sale Access Code, which will be sent to Avril's Crossbonez fan club members only. If you are not a registered Crossbonez member yet, head to Avrillavigne.com.

Avril Lavigne "Best Solo Artist" Award

Here is a video of Avril being announced as the winner of the "Best Solo Artist" award. She also won the "Most Addictive Track" award for Girlfriend. The track which was played when her name was announced was her latest single Hot. Enjoy;

Avril Wins Two MTV Europe Awards

Avril Lavigne took home 2 MTV Europe Awards on the 1st November. She won the award "Most Addictive Track" for Girlfriend and also she won the "Best Solo Artist" award.

Munich, Germany (Reuters) - Pop star Avril Lavigne took two top prizes at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday, stealing the thunder from her rival Justin Timberlake. The 23-year-old rocker won the Most Addictive Track and coveted Solo Artist categories, while Timberlake, who dominated the same event in 2006 and was the most-nominated artist in 2007, came away empty-handed.

Avril AIDS Concert Tickets On Sale Now

Tickets for the Unite Against Aids Concert are now on sale. Avril Lavigne is the headlining performer at the concert. Information from the Avril Lavigne site can be found below;

The concert will be hosted by Ben Mulroney, host of Canadian Idol and E-Talk, and will feature performances by Avril Lavigne, who will be the headlining performer; Juno and Grammy Award winner Sarah McLachlan; Angelique Kidjo, who's new album reflects the soul from her home country of Benin, Africa, Montreal based African singer Corneille, who is also a Unicef Ambassador; multi-platinum French Canadian singer Marie Mai and the 13 year old superstar, Nikki Yanofsky. Special guest DJ Dino Lenny from the UK spinning pre-show.
